The SMaBiT apps B-View Cloud and B-View Cloud Pro offer the possibility to create an app-specific user account.
Processed data: the user's e-mail address, an individual password, and the serial numbers and part of the configuration data of the devices which the user decides to be handled through the app will be recorded. This allows the user to access the devices from multiple endpoints without the need to re-enter all configuration data. If configured by the used, this data will also be used for the delivery of notifications such as email or push messages. In addition, B-View Cloud Pro also offers the user to assign a cloud storage provider’s account to the app user account allowing to send media to such cloud storage.
The data will be processed solely based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) by accepting the privacy policy before downloading the app. A withdrawal of your already given consent is possible at any time. An informal message by e-mail is sufficient for the revocation. The legality of the data processing operations until the withdrawal is not affected by the revocation.
The data remains with us until you ask us for deletion, revoke your consent to the storage or no longer exists the necessity of data storage. Mandatory statutory provisions-in particular retention periods-remain unaffected.
